Touch the face of a baby.
Clasp the hand of a friend.
Touch the heart of the Creator.

As we are all...

As we all partake of G_d, so we are all as G_d. But only in part.
Search for that part - in peace shall you find it.

The Sword

What G_d wants should not be decided by who has the sword.
The wolf does not tell the lamb what G_d wants.

The Light

G_d is the light, the flame. Ever changing, yet ever the same.
Light, warmth, peace, calm; so easily extinguished if ignored or abused. Take care with your soul, lest the light be dimmed forever.

Share life.
Share birth, share death.
Share of yourselves.
Others know that you cannot speak. Speak it aloud.
If they are of good souls, they will hear and understand.

G_d does not will. G_d is.
Man wills and says the words as though they came from G_d.
G_d does not speak in words.

The mind of a Sheep

Can we understand the mind of a sheep? Of a dog?
Yet these are below us.
How much less can we understand the mind of G_d.

The Way is Not Clear.

Lightning strikes the temple
and the steeple shatters,
The Holy are brought low.

The cancer grows,
the lame will not walk,
The eyes of the cat, surrounded by black,
are waiting.

There is a light in the wilderness,
its reflection close to home,
But the path is not straight
and the way unclear.

A Gift Cannot be Returned.

A gift from G_d cannot be returned. It must be used. It must be nurtured. It must be cared for. The way to give thanks is for the gift to be put to use.

A Quiet Place.

A quiet place and a quiet time. These are necessary. It is easier to search for peace within when it is quiet without.

A Prophet is always alone.

A prophet is always alone.
Many will see the sunrise; many more will see the sunset. Few will see the light.
Many will hear the words; some may listen. Few will hear the truth.
It was ever so.

To Share Food

To share food is to share life. When one has little, sharing leavens the soul. To give when one has nothing is divine.

Tiredness

Do not confuse tiredness of the body with weariness of the soul.The uplifted soul cannot tire. But when the body tires, it may seem that weariness is everywhere. Heed it not.

Look not...

Look not for signs from G-d - they are already there, all around you.

He can be Seen

G_d can be seen in the small things.. Do not look for G_d in the large - he shows his face in the little things: the scent of a flower, the smile of a baby, the breeze through the leaves.

Power

Power is not a thing of the soul. Power requires the flesh. One soul cannot have power over another; nor dies the soul seek power. The urge to power is a symptom of the lack of God - the non-existence of virtue. Virtue does not require power, nor does it seek it.

To do good...

To do good is to follow the form; to be good is to partake of the substance.

It is better...

It is better to be good than to do good. He who does good may do so because others tell him to do so. He will not know why it is good. This man will never know truth, because he wanders where others point. He who is truly good will never err if he follows his heart.
