Heat is not warmth.
Intelligence is not wisdom.
Light is not illumination.

Thought without action is sterile.
Action without thought is foolishness.

Obligations

A man has three obligations:
one to G_d, one to himself, and one to others.
To honor G_d is to honor the light within.
To honor oneself is to feed the flame that is your being.
To honor others is to recognize the light in all.

Do not expect others to find G_d for you.
You must be your own saviour.

It is not easy to pray.
If it is easy, you have not grasped the truth of what you are and what you do.

G_d has no need for violence on his behalf. Those who do violence to the children of Abraham are the tools of Satan.

Lord, I thank thee for this day
that I may feel the sun
Lord, I thank thee for this day
that I may hear the wind
Lord I thank thee for this day
that I may see the sky
Lord, I thank thee for this day
that I may continue on the path
Lord, I thank thee for my life.

Children

Treat your children always with the thought that you may not see them again. For you or they may be gone. But today, let your heart smile within you.

It takes an hour to build, but only a second to destroy.
Cherish and nurture what you build.
Do not destroy what others cherish.

Intelligence sees; wisdom overlooks.
The wise man sees the world as it is; only the fool presumes to know what it is.

Reason is one path to faith; but it is not the only path. And it may not be the safest.

There is no man so lost as one who is certain he knows the way.
There is no man so blind as one who is sure of what he sees.

You may give of your own life. Do not take that of another.
You may give of your own time. Do not take that of others.

To doubt is good. To question is good.
But when the answer comes, you must question again.
Test the question and test the answer, even though the person answering is you.

The gift of sight is given to many.
The gift of vision is given to few.

The curse and the blessing..

The curse of the prophet is
to see what is,
to see what was,
to see what will be,
to see what can be,
to see what could be.
The blessings of the prophet are also these.

Materiality

Materiality is neither good nor ill. It is both.
When driven only by knowledge it is for ill.
When driven by wisdom it is good.
As the flesh needs to be driven by the spirit,
knowledge must be directed by wisdom.
